Time to dedicate me to the aft deck. So that they can get used to
it, I bent the white strip and clamped them together. I needed
a hot air gun to convince them into bending without breaking.

I inserted a few shorter strips at the stern, which will be the
extension of the (still crossed) white strips.

These are the short strips, and one of the filler strips installed.

This is how it looks after the two strips (crossed above) are connected
to the short strips at the stern.
